Kai Gurenai went to Earth and looked at the sunset over the ocean at a bay. Running away, Dark Ma-Orb let Card live, but in fear of himself. Dark Ma-Orb explained that if he doesn't want to go down the same path, Card should discard his sword. Reminded of the last time someone said that to him, Card denied him and tried to finish him off, but he was too weak. Grabbing Card by the neck, he claimed that even Card will fall to the darkness one day. During their battle, Dark Ma-Orb summoned dark versions of the Ultra Warriors he had previously defeated via their Ultra Fusion Cards, commanding them to finish off whatever was left of the resistance forces. The rest of the veteran Ultras had already been slain, their essence harvested by Dark Ma-Orb to make gimmicks out of them obtain more powers.ДЄfter a first fight between New Ultraman Card (by then it is his go-to form) and Dark Ma-Orb, Card was badly beaten.

Kai is forcefully transformed into New Ultraman Card with his new weapon, Card Caliburing NEO, and flies away. Suddenly, the Ring of Light gives Kai his new mission to do.something, and takes the Card Ring, Cardcalibur and Card Ring NEO, merging them into one. The latter two, seeing Card Origin, decide to give the Card Ring NEO and a few R/B Crystals they never use, to him, saying that he would have better use for them. There, he meets with the Ring of Light, as well as Ultramen Rosso and Blu. Kai Gurenai is called to the Warrior's Peak once more. Arriving in another world, he is forced to act as a mentor figure to a new Ultra.Д¬ard is one of the Ultras who fight agaisnt Ultraman Orb Armageddon. Instead, he has to grant them to the next Ultraman, Ultraman Fuse.Д«y some sort of convenience, Card ends up fighting in an alternate Dark Spark War and being turned into a Spark Doll, retaining his sentience. The Ring of Light calls Card back to the Warrior's Peak, giving him a gun-like device and a few bullets, but they are not for Kai. He recieved Ultraman Animus' and Ultraman Dent's Ultra Fusion Orbs during the events of the special.Д¬ard appears in this crazy mashup where he uses his Spacium Slugger form. Jugrus Jaggler was also brought to the combined universe and had to do battle with his archenemy. In this crossover special, Ultraman Card ended up in the merged Project D universe. He uses the power of Fusion Up via his Card Ring and his Ultra Fusion Orbs to defeat them.Д¬ard goes somewhere in a nebula or something and starts talking to himself like a delusional freak, telling the 'viewers' about his adventures and stuff. In present times, the malicious Jugrus Jaggler has reawakened the Demon Lord Beasts! Ultraman Card returns to Earth once again to defeat them all under the guise of the wanderer, Kai Gurenai with the help of the SSSSP (Something Scientific Special Search People), a group of 3 individuals who investigate the mysterious phenomena caused by the revival of the Demon Lord Beasts. In a fit of rage, he used his most powerful finisher to defeat Mega (Not Maga) Zetton, losing his original form in the process. However during Ultraman Card's battle against Mega (Not Maga) Zetton, his friend had seemingly been killed. Ultraman Card and other Ultra Heroes descended to our world from a faraway planet to seal them away once more. Thousands of years ago, the Demon Lord Beasts started appearing and wreaked havoc upon the world. The word Orb is switched with Card, and vice versa for his collectibles.
